Origami Store: UC-Secure Foldable Datachains for the Quantum Era

چکیده

Traditional blockchains preserve everything, if verification is to avoid trusted third parties. The accumulation of outdated but undeletable data makes traditional non-scalable for practical applications. Stateless mitigate this problem via history deletion; however, existing stateless such as Mimblewimble are not quantum resistant they rely on specific discrete-log-based cryptography achieve deletion. In paper, we introduce the “Origami Store” (or O-store short), a general new approach distributed storage with generic deletion mechanism called “folding.” built using hash function and an arbitrary signature scheme. Since scheme decoupled from framework, O-stores compatible any quantum-resistant by design. More importantly, only needs one key per account owner) number transactions updates), thereby mitigating inefficiency large quantum-safe signatures keys. We prove security basic framework Universal Composability (UC); in particular, O-store's universal shown hold consensus mechanism, facilitate implementation wide range decentralized protocols. Origami store thus first UC-secure efficient that supports plug-and-play mechanisms fully trustless operation. demonstrate working implementations stores three post-quantum libraries-qTESLA, Dilithium, Picnic-to illustrate its scalability practicality real-world

Rigid-Foldable Thick Origami

In this paper, a method is proposed for geometrically constructing thick panel structures that follow the kinetic behavior of rigid origami by using tapered or two-ply panels and hinges located at their edges. The proposed method can convert generalized pattern of rigid-foldable origami into thick panels structure with kinetic motion, which leads to novel designs of origami for various engineer...

Rigidly foldable origami gadgets and tessellations

Rigidly foldable origami allows for motion where all deflection occurs at the crease lines and facilitates the application of origami in materials other than paper. In this paper, we use a recently discovered method for determining rigid foldability to identify existing flat-foldable rigidly foldable tessellations, which are also categorized. We introduce rigidly foldable origami gadgets which ...

Generalization of Rigid Foldable Quadrilateral Mesh Origami

In general, a quadrilateral mesh surface does not enable a continuous rigid motion because an overconstrained system, in which the number of constraints around degree-4 vertices (three for each vertex) exceeds the number of variables (the number of hinges), is constructed. However, it is known that the developable double corrugation surface, called Miura-ori, produces a rigid deployment mechani...

Design of Origami Sheets for Foldable Object Fabrication

Reconfigurable structures that are enabled through the integration of multiple materials are important for future design and manufacturing practice. We investigate one of such reconfigurable structures an origami sheet, which can be designed based on a 3D object and unfolded into a 2D sheet with complex creases. A fabrication approach based on a hybrid manufacturing process by integrating layer...

Deployment Methods for an Origami-Inspired Rigid-Foldable Array

The design for the array was inspired by the origami flasher model (Lang, 1997; Shafer, 2001). Figure 1 shows the array prototyped from Garolite and Kapton film at the CubeSat scale. Prior work demonstrated that rigid panels like solar cells could successfully be folded into the final stowed configuration without requiring the panels to flex (Zirbel, Lang, Thomson, & al., 2013). The design of t...
